They offer a wide range of APPOINTMENT ONLY tasting experiences ranging from $40 to $80. Sometimes you can get same day tasting appointments for the tasting room if you call ahead, I have had luck with this. They have a more private experience that overlooks some great views of the Stags Leap District (this is the Estate tasting or Estate Tour and Tasting). A fantastic tasting experience if you have more time than just to stop in the tasting room for a tasting.
*P.S. they are owned by the same owners as Cade Estate, so if you are a fan of Cade I highly recommend you check out Odette!
My wine picks:
1. 2014 Odette Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Stags Leap District : Robert Parker (95 points): "The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, and the rest Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The wine has terrific aromatics of graphite, spring flowers, and some blackberry and blueberry fruit. Full-bodied, elegant, but also substantial and long, this is super-impressive, rich wine can be approached now or cellared for 20 or more years."
2. 2015 Adaptation Petite Sirah : Love this Petite Sirah, it has a weightless finish yet full bodied and elegant. Great to enjoy with dinner, or just on the couch :)
Great to stop in for a tasting or to enjoy the longer tasting experience they have to offer. At the very least do yourself a favor and stop to get a bottle to enjoy!
