Really can work for any group size or experience you are looking for
Vintners Collective is a great tasting room in downtown Napa. Before or after you have gone to a winery or two, Vintners is a great place to go to. If you have time I would highly recommend going here while you are exploring around the cute downtown Napa area. *Generally you can get in same day but you should call ahead just to be sure as sometimes they have events.*
VERY WIDE SELECTION of Napa wines. A lot of the wines are smaller production wineries that are either far up north in Napa or so small enough that they do not have a tasting room. The experience is great because they can modify the tasting to your preferences. White wine lover? No issue they have a VERY wide selection. Red Wine lover? Not a problem either they have a very wide selection of the fabulous red wines that Napa has to offer.
They offer a wide range of tasting experiences ranging from $40 to $175 per tasting. They offer a tasting for pretty much any experience you are looking for. You can stop in and stand at the bar and have a tasting or you can go upstairs to the private tasting room (or even on the porch -- my favorite spot!) and have a more intimate tasting experience.
My wine picks:
1. Parallel 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon: LOVED this Cab! Notes --“Parallel's 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is a fruit-driven, dense ruby/purple wine with loads of black cherry and blackberry fruit. The wine has a medium to full body, good tannin, a neutral mouthfeel and high quality. I don't know much about the winery, but this is classy Napa Cabernet Sauvignon to drink over the next 15-20 years"
2. Shadowbox Rosé: One of my favorite Rosés out there! So easy to drink, not sweet and a beautiful color. Such a treat to try this low production rosé!
A must try in the valley for sure, you won't be disappointed!
